How do I power my fans?

I am new to computer building, and I am wondering how to connect the 4 of my case fans. They are connected to the 3 pin connectors in the fan hub. I have a phanteks enthoo luxe case. How do I power the fans?

Connect all the fans to the fan hub, as you did. Then, you connect the fan hub to the power supply usually by plugging it into a molex cable.

There is also a cable that is hooked up to the hub and says it can be connected to the motherboard cpu_fan

Could I connect that cable?

Also, I don't see any molex connectors on my fan hub, unless I'm missing something.

Your fan hub may be different - they're not all the same. What fan hub do you own? Or what case with a built in fan hub do you own? And I think you may be mixing up fan hub and fan controller. Hubs don't let you control the speed.

On the manual here http://www.phanteks.com/assets/manuals/PH-ES614L_Western.pdf it is page 31. You have two options. You can plug it into CPU fan on the motherboard or OPT fan or CHA fan, and it'll let you control the speed. Or plug it into a SATA power cable from the PSU for full blast. Not both at the same time - one or the other.

Just make sure your motherboard has 2 CPU fan headers if you do so, because you need to plug the actual CPU fan as first priority into that header.

Do you have a CPU_OPT on the motherboard that has 4 pins? What motherboard do you own? You can plug it into CPU_OPT.

Or just plug it into SYS_FAN.

Your motherboard has a CPU FAN2 at the top-right of it. Plug the header into that. Then, plug your CPU into CPU FAN1. Or you can plug the hub into SYS FAN3 underneath CPU FAN2 if you want.
