How do I power on a Gigabyte motherboard without a case?

I have a Gigabyte GA 970A board. I'm in the middle of building my first computer, and I would like to test it before I install motherboard into the case. How do I do this? I watched a Newegg video and they explained that it would either be a power switch on the board itself or I touch a screwdriver to a couple of pins on the board. I couldn't find a switch (if there is one), so that leaves the other way of powering it on. Question is, where is it? I looked at a diagram of the board but I couldn't find it.

The same as any other motherboard. Simply make sure it has a power connection and then short out the power switch jumper on the board by connecting the pins with a screwdriver. You can turn it off by connecting them again. Keep in mind that you will need a CPU, cooler and at least a stick of compatible RAM to have the board POST.
