How do I prevent my motherboard from shorting?

From last few months, my 3 gigabyte motherboards are dead from shorting.
Please tell me How do I prevent my motherboard from shorting?

PC Specs :
i3 6100
8 GB corsair RAM
Gtx 970 4gb
Gigabyte B250M-D2v
Corsair VS550 PSU

Definitely make sure all your cables are fully plugged in. Press them in to make sure. Make sure your ram and gpu are installed correctly.

Motherboards don't normally short circuit themselves. Customer induced damages are not covered by warranty. Generally vague descriptions of the problem don't mean much.

You might have an electrician inspect your electrical power service and a PC technician narrow down the short circuit problem. That may involve taking the PC in for service if you can't pin point where the short circuit occurred.
