Hi I've been having a problem with my synaptics Pointing Device Driver since i upgraded to Win10 (windows 10 is great please don't comment anything about its issues) whenever i turn off that thing that prevents me from using the touchpad while typing it goes back to on like i never did something about it!

IT'S SO FRUSTRATING! Anyway I solved it by uninstaling Synaptics Pointing Device Driver but it goes back because windows update updates synaptics! So what do i do to prevent windows from updating synaptics?

I was going to say, have you upgraded to Windows 10, because there have been tonnes of issues with trackpads! :)
Go to device manager, go to mice and pointing options (Human interface devices if it isn't there) and find your trackpad.
Go into properties or right click it, and update the drivers.
It should find the Windows 10 optimized software due to updating on that OS, and fix your problems. :)
Alternatively you can just disable automatic windows and driver updates under device driver updates in system settings for the drivers I think, and windows settings under windows update, advanced options.
In terms of the windows updates I wouldn't recommend this, as it makes your trackpad kinda buggy in my experience if you don't have the drivers installed.
EDIT: What model laptop is it out of curiosity? I had some trouble with a couple of HPs a few months ago with a similar issue.

That didn't actually work but thanks for trying to help!

What if there was a bug or a performance issue, maybe security issues! What if windows update had the solution but i didn't know?
