I'm using a western digital hard disk (not sure of the model). The hard disk itself is still running when i plug it into my notebook. The other folders in the hard disk are still accessible except for one particular folder which prompted me to reformat the drive when i click on it.
In general, the hard disk space is all taken up when i checked the properties, but when i click on that particular folder (which houses most of my files), it states 0 files.
I am a complete noob when it comes to IT issues so any help on how i may be able to possibly solve the issue would be appreciated.
