How do I redeem my windows 10 key onto my new PC?

I bought a windows 10 key but I'm not sure how I redeem it onto my new PC. Do I have to burn it onto a USB if so from where?

If you have a windows installed all you need to do is activate it. If not, then you need to download the ISO and install it from usb/dvd.
