How do i remove and reinstall Internet explor and outlook ..

Hi id like to be able to uninstall and reinstall both ie and outlook
express because after I applied SP2 ive had nothing but trouble with my
email and surfing the web SP2 is a pain . when ever I be an email from
a trusted site it gives me red X in the box and thinks its a virus but
it isnt i have the box unchecked in options to allow the pictures to
come thru but it still wont allow it . please help if i could i dont
want to a complete new install of XP and im not good at backing things
up they get lost ????
