How do I remove Old AMD Drivers?

Hi all,

I have upgraded my old AMD GPU to a newer Nvidia GPU. However, some AMD drivers are still installed on my computer and I fear they are conflicting with my Nvidia drivers.

Occasionaly, my HDD makes a noise, not grinding or any noises similar, as if it is restarting itself then my computer would just become unresponsive for around 30 seconds.

No visual defects are visible during this time but after the computer responds a message is displayed in the notifications bar saying: "Solve a problem with AMD/ATI Video Driver".

I removed AMD Catalyst Control Center but, apparently, some drivers still remain. I would use software to remove ALL AMD drivers but I have an AMD processor and i'm afraid I may remove its drivers as well.

Use display driver uninstaller:

Uninstall old AMD drivers using CCC then use DDU. After that just install new 14.12 Omega.

Thanks for the uninstaller, it seems to have done the trick but what is 14.12 Omega?

I don't need the latest AMD GPU drivers because I have a Nvidia GPU.
