This PC, upgraded to Windows 10, has only ONE disk.
Don't know what version of RAID it is running.
I the following this is enough info to help a solution.

(2)RAID Screen - LD View

Sure, doing a complete backup and then restore would be possible and will give you some level of security but nothing is as good as solid backup and keeping your installer disks. Only mark it as BA if it actually works for you, otherwise leave it open.

RealBeast your link to "Sam’s super easy guide to switching your SATA Controller from RAID to AHCI without destroying your Windows 10 disk" looks like it may do the trick. However, The statement "If you’ve exhausted your luck elsewhere, I hope this works for you as it did for me, but your mileage will almost certainly vary" does not make me feel comfortable at this time. Since I don't have Install disk for all the software, I am going to find the best way I can create a backup/restore of my hard drive first, which may take some time..
Should I mark your post as Answer?
Thanks.
