how do i remove windows 7 from my lap top it has windows 7 and 8.1 on but keeps putting up a page asking me which one to choos

Can anyone advise how i can remove windows 7 from my acer 7741Z laptop.

I have windows 7 and 8.1 on it and want to run the 8.1 but it keeps going back to a page to select the windows 7 or 8.1 and it reverts to 7 if i am not there to intervene. So what i would like to do is delete the windows 7.

1.Open msconfig, select the boot tab
Set any os you want as default
(You can also just remove windows 7 from the list by selecting it and choosing delete)

2.Remove your windows 7
Open disk management
Locate which "partition" has your windows 7 on it
Ask a question regarding partitions if you do not understand before doing the next step (if you don't understand partitions, you have a risk of accidentally deleting your other OS)

Delete the partition that you installed windows 7 on
