so recently i was experiencing ridiculous temperatures for my EVGA SC 980Ti like 60c on idle and 80-90 at load. so i assumed it was the thermal paste. and it was. the thermal paste was all cracked and falling apart. so i replaced the thermal paste and temps on idle are hovering around 20-30c and load 60-65c. but in the process i broke the wire connecting to the 2 pin header/connector like this:

and the 2 pin PCB Header and connector came off of the 2 pin.
and to my luck ive lost the 2 pin PCB header and connector but i managed to find some on ebay for £3: 2 pin pcb header and connector

it should look like this:

luckily my 4 pin connector for my fans are fine. but is there any way of fixing my 2 pin thingy for my LED's? and if so. is there a youtube tutorial on how to do so? thanks.

Solution
if you want you can solder the connection , but it will be permanent .
Be for u solder the cables it's best to let the cables touch the LED connection when plugged in to know witch one is + and - .
i hope this help you out .

That's why you need to connect the cables to the pin when the GPU is turned on so when the LED lights up u know witch cables needs to go witch pin .
but a smal tip red is always + and sometime is written on the pcb of the GPU witch pin is + and witch is - but 9/10 times left is + and right is -
