I know the motherboard is damaged, but is the ssd or whatever that holds the data inside of the motherboard? I have another motherboard, but it doesn't log me into my old account. What should I do? I would really like to get my old acer working again while retrieving all the data. And yes, I have another motherboard that does work. Please help, thanks!!!! If I could just retrieve the data that would still be fine. Any suggestions?

Solution
Most of those have an eMMC SSD space for storage.

The 32GB or 64GB eMMC storage is surface mounted to the motherboard. Not removable, and inaccessible if the actual motherboard is dead.

Now..if yours is one with an actual HDD (not many), it is probably removable.
