how do i return my graphics card to original format?

I recently updated driver and now have full black screen and no cursor, what can I do to reverse this driver update as I can't see screen. Tried f8 but don't work. If I was to hook up HDMI off back of graphics card and put to a TV would this help to see the screen? Or would it be the same issues?

Does the motherboard have any video outputs? If so connect to one of those so you can see the screen.
What version of Windows are you running? Win10 has a different way to get into Safe Mode than earlier versions.

I'm pretty sureit's windows 7, I'm not certain yet if there are other outputs . How can I tell this?

Look at the back of the PC, any motherboard video outputs are likely to be vertical, rather than horizontal, as they are on the graphics card.

So upon further investigation I found that my samsung SA350 monitor needed to have a firmware update , as that is what was causing my black screen of death with no cursor// Problem solved
