So im about to move my PC to a new case and to do that i need to remove my CPU Cooler first

The thing is that im kinda paranoid of doing it since last time i did it my CPU had been glued to the cpu cooler by the thermal paste so when i removed it the whole CPU came out of the motherboard socket and got destroyed

So how do i make it 100% sure i dont ruin the CPU when remvoing the cooler?

Then as I have said just stress the cpu for some time to increase the temp. Then again wait for few mins to properly cook the thermal paste then trun off and remove the cooler by applying small amount of pressure from each side not just snap it out from setup. Be nice and gentle HAHA...

Ok to do it in a safe way first stress your CPU with any stress test sw like prime 95 and run it for 10 mins. Then stop it and wait for 2 mins. Now turn off your PC and now remove the CPU cooler slowly by gradually applying pressure. Due to the heat the thermal paste grip on CPU will become weak and there should not be any type of disaster like you have said.

I think you are not asking how to delid your cpu right? I mean how to remove the shiny metal part which covers the internals of the cpu. becs many enthusiast also do this to improve thermals of the cpu specially during overclock. like the way James Mason replied.

Correct. Just the CPU cooler. Im not delidding it.
