I'm building a new rig with a new retail copy of Windows 10 so my old rig with my retail copy of Win 8.1 (upgraded to 10) will be available, I'll offer it locally as a complete build before deciding to break it for parts so...
Can i even sell 'my' copy of Windows 10 (upgraded from 8.1) or is it all now tied to my Microsoft login?
I don't have a problem demo'ing the PC before a private sake and then just formatting the SSD before letting it go but figured it would just be easier to sell as is, if that's even possible now days?
If I do end up doing that I guess that means that I'll have 2x Windows 10 licences available to me as they will both be tied to my Microsoft account?
Also where exactly can I go to see what licences my account currently has? I can see my Windows 10 licence via settings/update & security/activation actually on my PC but is there anywhere I can see it on Microsofts website?
