You basically will have to install Windows on the SSD. I suggest you back up your current hard drive before connecting the SSD. Then you can use your hard drive as Data Drive in windows.
Most(probably all)SSDs come with drive cloning software and instructions that allow you to duplicate and replace your current "booting" hard drive. Alternatively programs like Macrium Reflect or Acronis True Image and other similar programs should work.
