My BIOS might still trying to be using the intel HD 4000 as the default graphics rather than my GTX 670, which could be causing some of the slow problems with my computer. On an ASROCK Z77 Pro4 BIOS how do I set my GTX 670 as the primary graphics?

Solution
Make sure you plugged the monitor into the graphics card, not the motherboard. You should be able to set PCI-e as primary in the UEFI BIOS.

I found in northbridge/southbridge settings, it was already as PCI Express. There was another option for what generation it was, I left it at auto but should I change it to gen1, gen2, or gen3?

Also the integrated multi-monitor setting, I disabled it because I only use 1 monitor was this a good call?

Back in the day (for example my K8/462 socket machines) it would always use on board until you disabled it in BIOs, sometimes these days it'll stall on start up because it try's to use them then switch's to the GPU. Quick history lesson for anyone :)
