How do I set up IPv6 in D-Link router?

So, my ISP has recently changed my router from netgear to D-Link. In my old router, I used 6to4 tunneling and IPv6 websites worked just fine for me, but with this router it is more complicated.

On the main page, there's this IPv6 tab - http://prntscr.com/edx85m/direct - and in the advanced tab, there's 'IP Tunnel' which offers IPv6inIPv4 and IPv4inIPv6 - http://prntscr.com/edx8tx/direct (there is ONLY 6rd).

Here's my router's firmware manual: http://www.ng1000942-1533.ccccloud.com/guides/DSL-225-R1.00-Manual-Draft_2_20150327_G_Bezeq.pdf

Any help is appreciated.

That's an older device so may or may not be supported. You would need to set up the 6to4 in a specific page that might not exist for you. Take a look at an example HERE for a D-Link example, about half way down under configuring your IPv6 WAN connection.

Very likely from browsing quickly over your manual you can only use IPv6 on your LAN and not for WAN unless there is a setup under advanced not shown in the manual.

Yeah...there's no such page at all, the manual lists everything. I called up my ISP today and asked for another replacement so I can have Netgear once again, do you recommend that I proceed to get Netgear instead?

Yeah, Netgear worked before, and Netgear had way lower ms maximum ping to all websites too.
The only model they offer is Dual Band VEGN2610 (you can view it on Google Images), is this unit modern?

Haha, then it's decided, I'll return it and pickup a new Netgear one. Thanks for your help, it's greatly appreciated! <3

Just a quick observation and question:

Does that router establish a neighborhood "hotspot" for your ISP? Can you turn off/disable that hotspot?

The reason I am asking is an aquaintence was recently pressured/tricked into a new router that seems to be providing "hotspot" services for anyone with an account via the ISP.

Not sure of the details but the whole situation seems suspicious....

I'm no expert right here, you need to be more specific, what's a neighborhood hotspot? How can I even know if there's one here?

Lots of information online.

Here is a link to Xfinity's (Comcast) hotspot page:

https://www.xfinity.com/support/internet/about-xfinity-wifi-internet/

Then within that page (more specifically):

http://wifi.xfinity.com/

Take a look at the provided hotspot maps. See if there are any hotspots around your area.

In all fairness, there is an option to disable the "hotspot" function. I am told that my device does not support a "hotspot". Which may be the reason I am being encouraged to "upgrade".

Ask the ISP about disabling the hotspot - even if you do not care one way or another. See how the ISP responds.

Plus, if hotspot is turned off, keep an eye on it. Any upgrades or resets may restore the default setting - maybe "on".
