[SOLVED] How do i set up qos for league of legends

I'm really tired of my 700 ping so I thought maybe this could help. My router is primus and i was able to identify qos on the router page but theres a lot of stuff on it so idk how to change to favor league of legends, here are some screenshots

Unless you are saturating your WAN connection completely QOS will not help!

Certain QoS can help with latency if you're uploading or download at the max your isp will allow. If you share the connection with other people at home or you can't get more bandwidth QoS might be what you want. fq_codel or cake are the QoS qdisc that you want you can find it on openwrt, edge router X, and a few others.

So if I share connection with others it will help? Because I do but don't understand how to do so...

From what you have presented your router is almost worthless when it comes to doing any form of QoS.

If you read the bottom statement in the last paragraph it pretty much tell you that.

What this means is the router has very limited ability to affect outbound...ie UPLOAD traffic. Most people problems are because they are overloading the DOWNLOAD side and your router has no abilities at all to affect that.

Pretty much it means buy a new router.

BUT QoS is not some magic thing that creates more bandwidth out of thin air. All it does it determine which person gets poor performance. You may feel you game need better performance but if someone else in the house is watching netflix may feel their traffic is just as important. Step one is to get a agreement whose traffic really is more important. You can then consider buying a different router to enforce the agreement.\

Your best option is to buy more bandwidth if possible. These issues seldom occur on fast internet connection unless someone is abusing it.....and that is where agreement help the most.
