[SOLVED] how do i stop chrome/browser from auto-starting a video

Hi,
as in the subject, Toms page sometimes have a video which auto-starts every time i click a link, how do i stop that from playing automatically. example the video inside the green box, link to the post on toms

There is also an add-on for Chrome called AutoplayStopper that makes this easy to toggle on/off on demand. It's not that it does anything that hasn't been mentioned, but it gives you a button to enable/disable on the Chrome controls bar to the right of the omnibar.

in your settings under privacy and security click site settings then scroll down to autoplay and block it, you can allow and block specific sites from there too. (i'm on brave browser a chromium alternative settings/location may be different on chrome)
