Question How do I stop computer from crashing?

My motherboard and harddrive both went last week. I have replaced both, have new windows 10 install. when running big processes my computer crashes. It also crashed in the middle of the night for no reason and when trying to update GPU drivers.

my mother board bios and drivers are all upto date.

How can I figure out what is causing these crashes?

How old is the PSU?

What is the make and model of the SSD/HDD that have the OS on it? As for your OS, where did you source the installer for the OS? As for the drivers, did you let the OS download and install drivers it thinks is meant for your platform?

everything is like 3 years old.

its a crucial 1 TB SSD Crucial - MX500

i downloaded the windows 10 iso from windows and burned onto DVD

yes did all the driver installs from windows updates, then from motherboard asus page.

is there no way to just test a cpu or psu?
