How do I stop Fortnite lag?

2 tb hardrive
8 GB of ram.
Cpu AMD A10-8700P
Graphics card ATI AMD Radeon R9 360
If I over clock it will the lag stop??
My game is so choppy not even fun to play

I dont think that overclocking will help you a lot there.
Make sure that you Videocable is connected to the GPU and not the Motherboard and then check your Settings in fortnite and set them all to low if not already done.
Then check if your drivers for your GPU are up to date, somethimes new drivers (or drivers at all, LOL) make a hugh difference.

Your PC is not really powerfull and 8GB RAM is the minimum for Fortnite which might also cause this choppy gameplay.

If your computer is on a shared network that could be your problem right there. Shared networks lower bandwidth. Higher bandwidth helps games not to lag. Also as cookie said your pc is not that powerful and perhaps you should lower your settings.
