My computer only allows me to plug my headset in the front audio jack as is stated in the settings, and I can't see anyway to change it. I'm using windows 7

You want to plug it into the back? Plug it into the back, then right click the speaker icon in the system tray on the bottom right and select playback devices. From there select the proper device and make it default. You can right click devices and test them to see what it actually is playing through.

This is the issue

Not sure if that worked but
It tells me

Jack information: front panel

If I plug it into the front it works, if I plug it into the back it still gives me the wave forms and says it's working but it doesn't
I need to know how to switch it to the back one so it works.

Make sure your audio drivers are properly installed and just reinstall them if you had them installed already. If you need help on where to find them tell me what system you have or what motherboard you have if you built it.

It was working a few hours ago and I downloaded AMD software update. I know all I need to do is switch the default jack but I have no clue how, been searching for hours, if I plug it into the front one it works fine.
