Question How do i switch to 5ghz

Hello i have been having really slow internet lately on my pc, but all my other devices are fast, so i assumed that i was connected to a 2.4ghz connection.

I am using the linksys 6100m. thank you for your help!😀

normally the 5 ghz network shows separately from the 2.4 one. if it is enabled it should show as the SSID with 5 ghz at the end of it. select that one, provide the password and it should log in as 5 ghz and not 2.4.

keep in mind that while a lot faster, the signal has less range and walls and other obstacles have a bigger effect on the signal that it does for the 2.4 frequencies. therefore, if you are far away and have a weak signal, then the 5 ghz choice will offer even less strength to you.
