How do I transfer files from one pc to another?

I currently have an HP pc with Windows 7 and the video card has gone out on it. I just purchased a new Toshiba satellite pc with Windows 7. How do I transfer the email addresses, files and pictures from the old hard drive to my new pc?

You can use an external hdd or flash drive to transfer the files. All you have to do is copy the files off your old hdd to the external device, plug it into your new hdd and walla! you've got your old files.

"Windows Easy Transfer" is the easiest way to do it. It's even built in to Windows Vista & 7.
