How do I TRIM SSD Windows 10?

I have a Samsung EVO SSD 850, I would just use Samsung Magician but it says that Windows 8+ will automatically TRIM the ssds. I navigiated to 'Optimize Drives' and I see that my SSD needs optimization, is this the same as trimming? Should I optimize and turn on scheduled optimization?

If it's recognized as SSD, windows will do trim if automatic maintenance is On. No need to do it manually. it will do no good.

CountMike, how and where in Windows 10, is automatic maintenance?
is it turned on automatically, after, or when the SSD is installed?
I just installed an SSD on my desktop, and I want to maintain it properly I.t is a Kingston SSDnow300V, 240 GB

Disk properties > Tools > Optimizing your computer drives......> Optimize.
There you can make a schedule or optimize it manually.
