How do i turn my 4:3 stretched monitor into a 16:9 one

My monitor is a LG flatron W2232PM and it is a 4:3 stretched sidescreen monitor. Is there any way i can turn this 16:10 monitor that displays 4:3 stretched into a normal 16:10?

Can’t you change the resolution to a 16:10 one?

If you can’t see the resolution on the list, you can set a custom resolution in the nvidia control panel (assuming you use nvidia).

Just search 16:10 resolutions on google.

I have looked, but every resolution i have tried (including 16:10) has been really zoomed in and has not displayed the screen fully

as in the whole UI is zoomed it and nothing on the screen fits properly (eg. in chrome you cant see the tabs because its off the screen)

You need to set up underscan/overscan screen scaling
