APU: AMD A8-6600K Quad Core 3.9GHz (can go 4.2 but I don't have a reason to overclock)
Integrated Graphics AMD Radeon HD 8570D
8GB Kingston DDR3 RAM 1600MHz
1000GB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm, 64MB cache Hard Disk
Power Supply 500W WinPower Plus ad-e500ae-a5/a6
Motherboard GIGABYTE ga-f2a58m

Ok I am about to install a new graphics card a GTX 960 into my rig and I was wandering if I have to uninstall or remove my old drivers, if so can someone guide me on how to. Also I heard I have to actually switch off the integrated too but I don't know how and I would like to be guided on how to do this stuff. Thank you :)

Solution
No, you shouldn't need to remove any of the AMD APU drivers. I would not recommend disabling the integrated graphics. Two years down the line when your graphics card (theoretically) fails, are you going to remember that you disabled them and wonder why you're not getting an image from your APU?

Ok so I should leave them on? Someone told me if you are installing a graphics card with it you should disable the integrated ones. I am installing a Nvidia GTX 960 into my build so will it detect I have put in a GPU and auto configure to it?

Do I set my display to it in the BIOS im assuming? Or just plug in the cable from my monitor into the new GPU?
