how do i turn on tessellation with my nvidia gtx 550 ti i don't no if it's on/off how do i check how do i turn it on

Check the game options(video options/display options), dx11 on/off or tessellation low/medium/high.
You cant force on nvidia panel tessellation on games...

Forget tessellation you will slow almost any game so much it will be distracting
