How do I uninstall expansion cards from the Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 Motherboard?

In my defence for this embarrassing question, I've only been PC gaming for four months and had someone else build my computer for me so I don't really know how to remove and install new cards. I'm due to install a GTX 960 in a week, and while I have no worries about doing that I am concerned that I'll need to uninstall a USB Expansion card (two slots below the PCI-E slot). As this Nvidia card takes up two spaces on my case's backplates, the fans will be blowing on top of the USB expansion just below it, and that'll no doubt cause ventilation issues.

I'm aware of the latches one lifts and pushes into place to lock and unlock graphics cards and ram, but I can't see them for either the PCI-1 or PCI slot, however I can see one for where my current graphics card is. Do I simply unscrew the expansion card and carefully pull it out, or is it stuck there forever? I'm worried that if I tug it out I'll end up cracking the motherboard or doing damage to nearby components.

Any help would be appreciated, and please excuse my noobiness! I reckon once this GPU's installed I should have a lot more confidence getting inside and changing things around! ^^
