how do i uninstall my nvidia drivers

im still on the 364.47 driver and i wanna update to the new 364.72 update but it keeps failing the install , so i wanna manualy unistall the drivers and re install them , but there are so many nvidia drivers in the add or remove programs that i dont know what the correct process is , help ?

Running it in safe mode is the best option. You can run it from normal mode and choose safe mode and it will reboot the system into safe mode for you.

When running new driver install, select "Custom Install", then Perform "Clean Install".
This process will completely erase all previous NVIDIA drivers first, then new drivers will be installed.

i just tried that and it fails , any other suggestions withought having to download another program ?

How did the clean install option fail? Error message? Other than the clean install option youd have to manually remove the nvidia drivers and apps via add/remove programs in the windows control panel.

it just says installation cannot continue , no error code or anything else

Use DDU. Download it from the site (it's a forum site). Then run it and it will remove every trace of your GPU drivers. Then go on the nVidia site and download your new drivers. Finished.

i just finished trying this it cleans the nvidia drivers , but once i get geforce experience and try to update it fails again , help ?

alright guys so I ended up re installing windows 10 , i downloaded GeForce experience and was was able to get the latest driver installed with no issues
