hi, i have no idea what i'm doing when it comes to this so I assumed it'd be better to come here rather than mess anything up. On may 30th I downloaded windows update KB5026446 and since then I've had issues with none of my games working/launching. since this was a preview update i assumed it'd be fixed by the next update so I just waited until it came out but it did not. It wasn't until today that I found someone talking about the same issue and it seems that uninstalling the update was the only thing that fixed it. How do I do this? I've already checked the "uninstall windows update" section in settings but its not there. what should I do?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You can try and perform a system restore that is prior to when the update took place. Out of curiosity, did you make sure that the BIOS for your motherboard is up to date?
how exactly do I do that? I've never backed anything up so I'm not sure if I have that. and yes I have, BIOS is up to date. I checked everything else prior to confirming the issue was the update.

okay so i did that but it just says it's not installed on my computer, even though it is/was. is it saying that because I did the other update that came after it?
