I have ben looking for an answer to this everywhere, and found nothing. I need to re-install a driver for a Microsoft Wireless adapter that i can't get working, so i'm 100% possitve i would solve this issue by removing and installing it again. So how do i un-install this driver?

Sometimes you can go into Add/Remove Programs and find the driver in there.

The other way is to go into Device Manager, find the device you want to uninstall the driver for, right click and choose properties, select the driver tab, and then choose uninstall driver.

When you need to uninstall a driver completely, the best and safest method is to use the device’s uninstaller program (if it has one). If you added the device to your system and dont have the install disc, you can remove it from the device manager.

Click Start, type Device Manager, and press Enter.
Find and double-click the category of device whose driver you wish to uninstall (for example, the wireless adapter card would be listed under Network Adapters).
Right-click the device, and click Uninstall.
Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.
After the uninstallation is complete, reboot your computer as soon as possible.

If the adapter is still physically plugged in you should see a question mark next to it after a re-boot. you should be able to right click it and click to install driver. Then browse to where the driver is located. (or run the driver install disc again if you have one).

When i have done this, it still tells me i have the software installed, and need to remove it to re-install it.
