[SOLVED] How do I update an EFI file

Just built a new pc and cannot get WoL to work.
I checked the BIOS info and it quotes a Realtek UEFI UNDI driver, 2.034, 2015/02/16.
I found this was way out of date and download a version 2.050, 2019/09/19.
Its come as an EFI file and I don't know what to do next.

i would first go to the motherboard manufacture and update the BIOS
then try again, next i would be sure to fully update windows, some times updates are fully left over.
and try again

What motherboard do you have?

In fact, system specs may be helpful in general: mobo, cpu, memory, gpu at least. more if you want to share!
