How do I update Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3?

Recently built my first pc but have been getting a lot of Blue screens of death, i ran a driver updater and it mentioned that "Motherboard resources" are out of date, i was wondering how i update these?

I generally don't recommend running driver updaters unless they are from the motherboard maker.

When you do a build it is best not to use the install CD, but to download the latest drivers. Check on the Gigabyte support site to see if there are newer drivers available, if so download and install them.

The newest chipset driver would be on the Intel support site, otherwise get the rest from Gigabyte.

Which OS, 7 or 8.1?

I would also run the free version of memtest86 from HERE just to be sure that you don't have a memory issue, as that can cause BSODs.
