How do i update my chipset?

Do i go to intel.com or the mobo manufacturer?

Go to the motherboard manufacturer's website.
Your motherboard's documentation should give you precise details about how to do it.

You can actually do it both ways.
I updated my motherboard using the motherboard Intel chipset drivers, but later I went to Intel's Support site and used their software to auto-scan my system.

The Intel site found newer drivers existed so I downloaded and installed them.
