How do I update my router firmware?

Hi guys,

Recently I've had problems with my Cisco EPC3925 EuroDocsis 3.0 2-PORT Modem. As soon as I start up my PC, and any other PC or laptop starts up afterwards in my house (Connected with ethernet cable), The internet quits working, and has this hazard icon instead of the standard connected icon. When I ran a diagnosis, it said that it has trouble sending data to the devices.

I'd like to try and update my router firmware, but I could not find it anywhere in its options. Does someone know how to do this or either fix the issue completely?

If anyone needs more data, I'll be happy to hand out.

Hi,

You do not need to update firmware.
If DHCP is enabled in Router then set your PC at Dynamic. If it auto takes IP then its ok else assign it static IP.
If still you face the same issue then check your cables connectivity.

DCHP is enabled in the router, and my PC is currently set to have a static IP adress. However, this Issue has existed even before I took on a Static IP. Anything else?

I think that Cisco EPC3925 EuroDocsis 3.0 is managed by your ISP and you can't update him.
