I currently have a 2tb drive, but i realized that is not enough for a youtuber using fraps. I am going to be purchasing another 4 tb drive and i need a way to combine both drives to look like one drive. I also need to keep my files from the original 2tb drive. I know there is spanning and everything but i dont know if my first drive will keep all of its files.

Summary: Getting new drive, need to combine with different sized original drive without losing all files.

It does. You would be better off using them as separate drives, actually. It would be too much hassle, and RAID 0 means that if 1 drive fails, they both are corrupted. I would recommend instead maybe buying a 1 TB SSD or something along those lines, because another 4 TB hard drive isn't going to do much, besides more space. An SSD...

Will I save my files when i switch to raid 0 because I've heard that it wipes the whole drive then it creats the raid array.

An SSD will but load speeds of Windows and everything else in one quarter and still be more space.
