i recently built new pc and i have windows 10 on it, and i found one of my old games laying around and i wanted to play it, the game was need for speed carbon back from 2006 i think. i installed it on my pc and everything went good, until i tried playing it, everytime i tried playing it after its been installed it kept asking me if im sure i want to let this program make changes to this pc from an unknown publisher (the nfs game) and i clicked yes, then (only sometimes) it would say that a file is missing or is corrupted and if it didnt say that just nothing would happen at all.
Please help me, i absolutely LOVED this game way back then and i would love to play it again

**please note that this game ran perfectly on my old windows 8 machine and my current specs are beyond the system requirements and it is a legal copy of the game**

Did you install the latest DX, Visual C++ distros and .NET frameworks? Since it's an old game, did you also install any of the older aforementioned libraries? (even if old and relatively unused, some games still require them to function properly, especially DX 9c)

Also, if I recall correctly, NFS Carbon required Games For Windows Live. The software is now discontinued, but you can still download and install it for such games.
