How do I use HDTV as a Computer monitor

I have a Nvidia Gforce 210 video card with an HDMI output...can I use a HDTV 1080P LED tv as a monitor???

you can use a digital resolution up to 2560x1600 with geforce 210.

so you are ok using it as a monitor.

Yep, you can.

I you want sound to come out of your HDTV via the HDMI cable, then you need to connect an audio pass-thru cable from your audio card to the video card.

1 cavet, some HDTVs do not make for a good monitor especially during post and when in bios. (A) Driver is not loaded until windows has loaded (and I think the output is 640 x 480) and (B) Windows recognizes the HDTV as a generic monitor.
Ended up on my Samsung P2770 HD (Monitor/HDTV), I plugged computer one (an I5-2550k into the DVI input and computer two into the VGA (Ugh). Have a stand-a-lone DVD recorder w/cable input on the HDMI (1) input.
