Question How do I use two laptops with one monitor?

Hello all,

I am starting a new work from home job soon, and I would like to get my home office desk setup ready before my start date. I would like to be able to share one or two monitors with two laptops (alienware person laptop and macbook air for work). I want to be able to use one keyboard, mouse and speakers. Could you help me get this setup correct? I have a Gigabyte M27Q monitor that supposedly has KVM in it. What would be the most seemless way to create this setup?

It appears that the internal KVM functions via USB-C so that is something to keep in mind. As for configuration, it looks like it's accomplished via the OSD Sidekick software that is part of the monitor. I recommend looking at the Quick Start Guide for it, found HERE, for additional details.
