How do I use two monitors? One DVI, one HDMI, on single GPU desktop.

I just got a new ASUS VG248QE 144hz for gaming to replace the LG 23EA63 IPS I had. I was originally going to sell the LG to recoup some cash, but now I'm kinda interested in dual monitors for multi-tasking.

Plus the IPS display is really nice.

How do I go about using 2 displays on a single GPU(680), i7 3770k, desktop?

Plug them both in then go to adjust resolution and pick extend desktop display. Arrange the monitors there however you want by dragging the "1" and "2" boxes around. Click ok. It's that easy.

Hi, I have 2 DVI slots filled with dual monitors and one HDMI slot free which I'd like to use to add a third monitor. I want the new monitor to spread my work further across (rather than duplicate). Im using an ATI Radeon 3000 card. Does your answer apply to this as well? thanks.
