How do i verify that my MOBO is dead?

Yesterday my i tried to change the boot image with asus software
"ASUS MyLogo V1.01.18 for Windows XP/Vista/7 32bit & 64bit."
When suddenly it froze up and started to make "weird noises" through my headphones "The type of noises when you get BSOD. And after that i wouldn't boot up, it doesn't display anything.
Things that i have tried

• 
  Cleared CMOS
  Changed PSU,GFX,different ramsticks,
  Verified that the parts still function

Will verify if the cpu is fried "have a phantom II x3 laying around"

Let us know what happens with the Phantom, otherwise might bench it and troubleshoot

can you enter the BIOS ???
If you can then it is not dead but if you can't it is another long story
