How do iget intel rapid storage to work with my system?

My hdd is set to achi mode

And my mobo is a z270 tuf mark 2

I tried enabling it in thw bio but i got a bott faliure blue screen

Do i have to install anything first before i can use it or is it not compatible with a single hdd in achi mode

Im using windows 10 home also if that matters

My full specs are

R9 390 8gb vram
I7 7700k non oc
16gb ddr4 3000mhz ram
And a samsung spin something hdd in achi mode

This is mainly for people who wish to use a raid array setup for thier hard drives, which offers better protection against loss of data. In order to use a Raid, you need at least 2 drives installed, and you will basically only get the storage of one of them, as the second drive is used for recovering bad files.

It does offer drive health monitoring as well, but it's not worth it in my opinion.
