How do install my Nvidia geforce gtx 650 ti boost in my hp pavilion p6-2133w? I know how to get it inside the computer but i h

I recently purchased A evga Geforce GTX 650 ti boost with 2gb of ram and i am having problems. I can get it inside the right slot and everything else, but the problem is i have no 6 pin. I have an adapter the card comes with, but there is nothing to connect to the molex either!!! I only have Sata cords in my computer! Everyone else who has my computer seems to not have a problem. Am i doing something wrong? I am worried about buying a new psu because my hard drive and disk drive are both connected by these weird Sata cords. What should i do?

There should be 4-pins or PCIe coming off your PSU. If not, it's probably too underpowered to run it anyway.

And SATA isn't that weird, it's coming up for a decade since it went mainstream.

It's not really a bad computer but yeah i have no 4 pincs or pcie coming off of it... only sata... And the hard drive, and disk drive are connected with sata cords so if i get a new psu what do i do then?

When you get a new PSU, you just plug it into everything that has plugs into it at the moment + the PCI-e for the graphics card.

The Corsair CX430 should be fine for you.

Maybe you can find some power cable adapter to change your power connector to suitable the cards needs.

Before you do this, please check if your PSU could handle full speed running 650TI system.

That looks good but at the time seems a little expensive.
