How do these fan connectors work?

Can i connect a case fan into a 3 pin connector on the motherboard that is labelled cpu fan or power labelled fan? or do they actually have to be labelled chassis fan for my case fan to work?

yes bud it will work fine you will have no problems it is just the way mobo makers label them
