Hello there people! Please point out if I made any mistake in my statements, thank you.
So first of all, I've been playing a lot of online games at the moment, such as Overwatch, Blizzard's newest title. The problem is, sometimes my ping becomes unstable and fluctuate to even a 500, 700, to even 1000ms. I've later found out that there are many people in the house that uses the wifi to stream videos, send pictures/videos, etc. This gets really annoying, because it happens so randomly and unexpectedly as I'm playing, especially in competitive games, it becomes stabile once in a while and skyrocket again, taking all of my bandwidth.
Is there anyway to divide the bandwidth to an equal amount so I can have a stabile ping? From what I've heard, online games doesn't take that much of a bandwidth, is it true?
NOTE: There is no QoS feature in my router and I only have a 4mbps bandwidth. But there is a feature called Bandwidth control that I'm certain can limit the bandwidth of the devices, but I don't understand how to configure.
Any help is kindly appreciated!
