My brothers computer will not allow him to surf the net or use any program on his computer...it won't even let us use the instillation disk that comes with the computer to recover it. I need to know how to do an "F" disk on a computer that runs windows vista on it. I need step by step instructions please.

Not sure what you will accomplish with running fdisk on that computer, why are you trying that?

What happens when you try to run the restore disks?

There would be a reason why you are in this situation, how did this all happen? We will need more details.. If you are trying to complete a recovery/restore after you have done a windows reload for example nothing will happen because there is nothing to backtrack too. Its quite possible that it is a driver related issue too. Explain more please.
