Wifi for a desktop or a laptop is provided by a piece of hardware, not software that you can download.

For a desktop, you'll need to buy a wifi adapter of some sort - whether it be a USB adapter (for example - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320175) or a PCIe adapter (for example - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833704133).

With that motherboard youd need to buy a wireless card(either usb or pci-e) as it lacks a built in wireless card. Your laptop had wireless built in and required a driver to work and the usb flash drive was used to install the driver that is required for the os to use the hardware.
