So basically what me and my friend are doing is extending his internet from one area to another.

We have this idea to use Ubiquiti PBE-5AC-300-US Power Beam antenna and beam his original internet signal 4817 feet to his house on the other side of town.

I've checked the topography of my area and the buildings in the way and i believe it will work. The only problem is once it is there is i have no idea what to use to extend the wifi we are receiving to his whole house.

I've thought about using a wifi extender but don't i need an original wifi signal for that?

The router he has is Netgear so i have no idea what hardware i need to extend it.

If anyone could help i would appreciate it

Solution
You would need TWO of the power beams, one at each end. You would bring the internet in on an ethernet cable and then a switch or WIFI access point.

Good luck. Trying to get that sighted it will be interesting.
